Each year, NEMNET conducts Workshops and Training Seminars on Diversity Recruitment and Retention. Our workshops explore the challenges, best practices and strategies associated with minority faculty and staff recruitment. Each of our workshops are designed to leverage over 18 years of diversity recruitment experience to empower individuals and organizations with information and resources to maximize their recruitment and retention efforts.
Audience:
Most, but not all, workshops are open to Board Members, School Heads, Deans of Faculty, Division Directors, HR Managers and individuals directly responsible for faculty recruitment.
Workshops are open to the both public and private schools k-12, unless otherwise noted. [Please note: Some restrictions, limitations and exceptions may apply. Please contact our office for details]
Participants will:
• Learn how to implement best practices and proven minority recruitment strategies
• Learn how and where to access information and resources that will assist them in meeting their diversity goals
• Undergo the NEMNET Minority Recruitment Assessment Test [mRAT] to assess individual obstacles and needs
• Leave with concrete, tangible tips and strategies
